The tale
About Don't Look Back
Behind you, the old room still burns red.The clocks are gathering their final hours, and thorns remember every wound.
But beyond the broken wall, the forest opens. No path repeats itself there. No turning leads you home.
So carry the music forward.Let it bend, rise, wander and change.Walk through the pain that once held you—and don’t look back.
“Don’t Look Back” is a fluid instrumental journey blending the restless freedom of jazz fusion, the forward-moving pulse of funk, and the weathered soul of blues guitar.
Like the world depicted in the artwork, the composition stands at a crossing. Behind us lies a decaying crimson room filled with broken walls, tangled thorns and clocks counting stagnant hours. Beyond it waits an open forest—vast, uncertain and alive. Between these two worlds stands the guitar: a bridge between what has already happened and what has yet to be.
The music never retraces its steps. Its melody bends, twists and flows continually forward, refusing to return to where it began. At times it gathers speed with urgency; at others, it slows down to breathe and reflect. Driven by a tight, funk-inspired rhythm section and an expressive, blues-tinged jazz guitar, it changes shape as it travels—but it never stands still.
Perhaps life asks the same of us.
Not to deny our old wounds, but to stop living inside them. Not to erase the past, but to let it become part of the music—and then allow the next note to carry us somewhere new. We cannot pause time, nor should we anchor ourselves to old pain and regret.
Embrace the changing tempo. Find your groove. Keep walking toward the light.
Whatever you do, don’t look back.
